Scotland’s National Trail

Devised by outdoor writer Cameron McNeish, this long distance route launched in 2012 runs for 470 miles from the Scottish border to Cape Wrath.

The Great Trossachs Path

On 26 Aug 13 plans were launched for this new 35 mile walking route, which will link the West Highland Way with the Rob Roy Way. It will open for walkers in 2015

The Scottish Watershed

In Scotland, precipitation of rain, snow, sleet or hail eventually joins a watercourse which will carry it to either the Atlantic Ocean or the North Sea. Linlithgow based Peter Wright, was the first to recognise, research and eventually walk the 1,100Km route from south to north. It is all recorded in his book “Ribbon of Wilderness” published in 2005.
