Confirmation in February 2013, that the Scottish Screening Centre, a major chemical storage and logistics hub, will be based at the BioCity campus in North Lanarkshire with a budget of 196 million euros. Hundreds of thousands of chemical compounds will be held at a state-of-the-art facility as part of a European-wide facility to speed up creation of new medicines.

This will bring up a number of websites relating to the world leading Life Sciences community in Scotland.
